Raise With Heart Direct is a for-profit fundraising support platform. These documents explain how campaigns, contributions, fees, payouts, privacy, refunds, and platform use work.
Effective: August 11, 2026 · Last updated: August 11, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern use of Raise With Heart Direct (“Raise With Heart,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) by campaign organizers, beneficiaries, supporters, and visitors. By using the platform, submitting a campaign application, connecting a Stripe account, or making a contribution, you agree to these Terms.
Raise With Heart provides fundraising-page creation, campaign support, promotional materials, organizer toolkits, contribution tracking, and related platform services. Raise With Heart is not a bank, charity, tax adviser, financial adviser, or guarantor of any campaign outcome. We do not guarantee approval, fundraising success, or any particular amount of support.
Organizers must provide accurate information, be legally able to agree to these Terms, and have authority to raise funds for the stated beneficiary or purpose. Organizers must promptly correct materially inaccurate information and must not impersonate another person or misrepresent their relationship to a beneficiary.
Campaigns are reviewed before publication. We may request supporting information, decline an application, pause or remove a campaign, or limit platform features when information appears incomplete, misleading, unlawful, unsafe, prohibited by payment-provider rules, or inconsistent with these Terms. Review is a platform-safety measure and is not an endorsement or independent guarantee of every campaign statement.
Organizers represent that campaign content is truthful to the best of their knowledge; funds will be used for the stated purpose or material changes will be communicated transparently; submitted media may lawfully be used; and the campaign will not violate law, another person’s rights, Stripe rules, or these Terms.
Organizers retain ownership of content they provide and grant Raise With Heart a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, format, edit for clarity, display, and promote that content as reasonably necessary to operate the campaign. Promotional materials prepared by Raise With Heart may be used by the organizer to promote that campaign.
A contribution is a voluntary payment made to support a campaign. Unless a campaign expressly identifies a qualified charitable organization and applicable requirements are satisfied, contributions should not be treated as tax-deductible charitable donations. Supporters are responsible for reviewing campaign information and deciding whether to contribute.
Raise With Heart charges a success-based service fee equal to 15% of contributions received. The fundraiser share is 85% before separate payment-processing costs, refunds, disputes, reversals, reserves, or other adjustments. Stripe provides payment processing. Applicable processing costs are separate from Raise With Heart’s 15% service fee and may reduce the amount ultimately available for payout.
Organizers who receive campaign proceeds may be required to create or connect a Stripe account and complete Stripe onboarding, identity, banking, tax, and verification requirements. Stripe provides its services under its own agreements, including the Stripe Connected Account Agreement. By proceeding through Stripe onboarding, organizers agree to Stripe’s applicable terms and authorize payment and payout functions necessary for the campaign.
Payout timing is not guaranteed. Availability may depend on successful payments, Stripe account status, verification requirements, reserves, risk review, disputes, bank processing, weekends or holidays, and other circumstances outside Raise With Heart’s control.
Payments may be refunded or reversed when appropriate under our Refund Policy, Stripe rules, payment-network rules, law, or fraud/risk review. A refund or dispute can reduce campaign proceeds and may reverse amounts previously attributed to the organizer or Raise With Heart. Original payment-processing fees may not be returned by Stripe.
You may not use Raise With Heart for fraud, deception, illegal activity, harassment, hate or violent wrongdoing, prohibited financial activity, regulated or illegal goods, deceptive investment activity, money laundering, sanctions evasion, or any purpose prohibited by Stripe or applicable law.
Although Raise With Heart may review applications and request information, organizers—not Raise With Heart—are responsible for campaign claims and use of funds. Supporters should contribute only when comfortable with the organizer, beneficiary, and campaign information.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features or update these Terms when reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, payment-provider requirements, or platform operations.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Raise With Heart is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from platform use, campaign performance, organizer conduct, payment-provider outages, or supporter decisions. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
To the extent permitted by law, organizers agree to defend and indemnify Raise With Heart from third-party claims, losses, and reasonable costs arising from their campaign content, unlawful conduct, misuse of funds, infringement of another person’s rights, or material breach of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
We may collect organizer and beneficiary information, email address, phone number, campaign location, story, images, application information, communications, and administrative records related to campaign review. We also maintain contribution records such as supporter name or identifier, contribution amount, transaction status, campaign attribution, refunds, and payment-provider reference IDs.
Stripe processes payment-card information and may collect organizer identity, banking, tax, and verification information. Raise With Heart does not need to receive or store full card numbers or online-banking credentials to operate the platform. Stripe handles information it receives under its own privacy terms.
We use information to review and operate campaigns; create fundraising pages and promotional materials; provide organizer support; process and reconcile contributions; facilitate payouts; prevent fraud and abuse; communicate about applications, campaigns, transactions, or account requirements; maintain security; comply with law; and improve services.
Information intentionally placed on a public campaign page may be visible to anyone. Private organizer contact information, internal notes, payout notes, and private toolkit access information are not intended for public display.
We may share information with Stripe and service providers that help host, secure, communicate, analyze, or operate the platform; with authorities when legally required; or when reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, security issues, disputes, or violations. We do not sell personal information to advertisers.
We retain information as reasonably necessary for campaign operations, transaction records, fraud prevention, dispute handling, legal obligations, and legitimate business purposes.
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. Private organizer toolkit links should be treated as confidential and regenerated if unintentionally disclosed.
The platform is not intended for children to independently create campaigns or payment accounts. A parent, guardian, or other legally authorized adult should organize campaigns involving minors.
You may ask us to correct inaccurate personal information or answer privacy questions through Raise With Heart’s published contact channel. Some records may need to be retained for transaction, fraud-prevention, legal, or operational reasons.
Raise With Heart is designed primarily for legitimate personal needs, family emergencies, medical or hardship-related expenses, community support, memorial or funeral needs, animal-related needs, education, and other lawful causes we approve.
Campaigns may not involve fraud or materially misleading claims; illegal goods or services; weapons or explosives; controlled substances; gambling; pornography or sexual services; hate, terrorism, or violent wrongdoing; deceptive investment or get-rich-quick schemes; money laundering; sanctions evasion; or other activity prohibited by Stripe or applicable law.
We may request documentation reasonably related to campaign legitimacy, identity, beneficiary authorization, or intended use of funds. Approval does not mean Raise With Heart guarantees every campaign statement.
Raise With Heart service fee: 15% of contributions received.
Fundraiser share: 85% before separate payment-processing costs and transaction adjustments.
Payment processing: Stripe processes supporter payments and connected-account payouts. Stripe processing fees and other applicable payment-provider charges are separate from Raise With Heart’s 15% fee.
Example: on a $100 contribution, Raise With Heart’s service fee is $15 and the fundraiser share is $85 before separate processing costs or later adjustments.
Organizers may be required to complete Stripe onboarding and provide identity, banking, tax, business, or other verification information before transfers or payouts are available. Raise With Heart does not guarantee a specific payout date.
Payouts may be delayed, paused, or unavailable because of incomplete verification, Stripe requirements, risk review, reserves, disputes, refunds, bank processing, legal requirements, or technical issues.
Supporters may contact Raise With Heart about a contribution made in error, duplicate payment, suspected unauthorized payment, material campaign concern, or other refund request. Refund decisions are made based on the circumstances, payment status, availability of funds, Stripe or payment-network rules, fraud considerations, and applicable law.
Approved refunds may reverse corresponding campaign proceeds and Raise With Heart service-fee amounts. Stripe’s original processing fees may not be returned, and payment networks or Stripe may impose other costs in connection with refunds or disputes.
Chargebacks and payment disputes are governed by applicable payment-network and Stripe processes. Campaign proceeds may be adjusted or held while a dispute is pending or after a dispute is resolved.
Raise With Heart is a for-profit fundraising platform and does not provide tax advice. A contribution to an individual or personal campaign is generally not a tax-deductible charitable donation. Words such as “donate,” “contribution,” “fundraiser,” or “cause” do not by themselves make a payment tax deductible.
Organizers and supporters are responsible for their own tax obligations. Raise With Heart does not issue charitable donation receipts unless a future campaign type specifically qualifies and the platform expressly states otherwise.
